Cracked Teeth

A cracked tooth can cause a wide range of symptoms. It can be difficult to diagnose because cracks oftentimes do not appear on an x-ray and symptoms can fluctuate. A cracked tooth could cause hot and cold sensitivity, pain with chewing or biting, pressure pain or a combination of these. We utilize advanced technology such as surgical microscopes and CBCT that help aid in proper diagnoses and treatment of cracked teeth.

Traumatic Injuries

Traumatic dental injuries can occur when there is damage to the tooth and/or surrounding soft tissues. Some injuries can involve the pulp, which would require prompt evaluation and treatment in order to preserve the natural tooth. Traumatic injuries can occur due to sports accidents, falling or from unexpected events. The injury could be minor such as a chipped tooth or as severe as a fractured root or avulsion (the tooth is out of its socket). We understand the urgency of a traumatic dental injury and the importance of thorough and compassionate treatment.

Internal Bleaching

A tooth that has had a root canal can become discolored over time. Internal bleaching is an option to help address the discoloration of your natural tooth. Internal bleaching involves placing bleach material on the inside of your tooth and over time, it will gradually lighten your natural tooth.

Root Resorption

Root resorption is when there is a breakdown of tissue on the root surface of your tooth. It can be caused by a variety of factors such as inflammation, trauma, underlying dental conditions or possibly undetermined circumstances. The extent of the resorption can range from mild to severe and the level of severity determines the treatment approach. Treatment can involve either root canal treatment alone or a combination treatment approach which would involve surgery and root canal treatment.
