Sara O’Brien, DMD, PharmD | Endodontist in Pittsburgh
Dr. Sara O’Brien has been around the dental field since a very young age. Both of her parents were dentists and she grew up frequently visiting and spending time in their dental offices. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh and attended Peters Township High School. After graduating high school, she attended Duquesne University and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) in 2014. She then continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) in 2018. After working as a general dentist, she realized her passion and interest in endodontics and earned her Specialty Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Pittsburgh in 2021.
Dr. O’Brien is a board eligible endodontist and is an active member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Western Pennsylvania Dental Society and American Association of Endodontics.
While not in the office, Dr. O’Brien enjoys spending time with her family, going to dinner and spending time outdoors. Her hobbies include reading, lifting weights, CrossFit workouts, and watching Pittsburgh sports teams. She currently resides in Collier Township with her husband, Matt, and their son, Cameron, and daughter, Quinn.
